PostSubject: Weapons and Upgrade System   Sun Mar 23, 2014 5:37 pm

So what are the weapons and upgrade system you ask me? Well, the weapons system is an interesting thing!  Upon signing up to this site you will be asked to pick a Weapon Specialization!

What is this?  Well, a Weapon Specialization is a weapon of your choice that you wish to become a master of.  You may only have one specialization per character, and changing requires permission of a mod or admin, and it also requires you to give up, without selling them, your old weapons and you must buy new ones of your new class, starting from the bottom rank.

Btw, here are the weapon classes available:

Sword and Shield
Twin Swords
Two Handed Sword

What does this mean?  Say you have Goddess Crossbow, the strongest Crossbow out there, but you want to move to Sword and Shield, you must remove all of your current Crossbows from your Item Storage, Pouch and etc, and you CANNOT SELL THEM, and go buy the Basic Sword and Wooden Shield and start from scratch.

As you may have guessed, there is also a weapons upgrade and rank system.  Each of the different rank are as follows:

For Weapons:

Sword (Sword and Shield)
Basic Sword
Iron Sword
Tempered Sword
White Sword
Goddess Sword
Master Sword (Triforce Hero Only)

Twin Swords
Basic Twin Swords
Iron Twin Swords
Tempered Twin Swords
White Twin Swords
Goddess Twin Swords

Two Handed Sword
Basic Two Hander
Iron Two Hander
Tempered Two Hander
White Two Hander
Goddess Two Hander

Basic Axe
Iron Axe
Tempered Axe
White Axe
Goddess Axe

Basic Wooden Spear
Iron Spear
Tempered Spear
White Spear
Goddess Spear

Basic Wooden Crossbow
Heavy Crossbow
Rapid Fire Crossbow
Multi Shot Crossbow
Goddess Crossbow

For Shields:

Shield (Sword and Shield)
Basic Wooden Shield
Braced Wooden Shield
Reinforced Wooden Shield
Basic Iron Shield
Braced Iron Shield
Reinforced Iron Shield
Basic Goddess Shield
Braced Goddess Shield
Reinforced Goddess Shield
Hylian Shield (Triforce Hero Only)

Now! Everyone automatically starts off with the lowest rank of whatever weapon class you're in. And while you can only buy the most basic form of all weapons, meaning you can't buy your way up to the top rank. The way to get higher up in ranks of weapons? Simple! You upgrade your stuff by using treasures and such you find in dungeon runs or buy from Beedle. Then, with a little bit of time, and a little bit of rupees, bam! You've upgraded your items!

Keep in mind though, that the stronger the weapon, the more rare treasures you'll need and the more rupees you'll need. Now! Get out there and get going!
