The Deku Tree, grown right over its dead predecessor, stood proudly over the Kokiri forest, watching over the Kokiri- the children of the forest, who never grew up. Recently, he had been having a strange, recurring dream- he knew his time was coming. A passing human caravan had brought information of his predicament to hyrule castle town, and Kakariko- those who knew of his predicament would come.
He left an entrance to his interior open, as his ability to speak had long since passed. All that was left was hope- hope that someone, anyone, could save him from the evils that were growing inside him, before it was too late. His fate was in the world's hands.
Would he survive? Only time would tell...

Rules: Players will progress, room by room, finding chests, battling monsters and, eventually, fighting the boss. There will be branching paths, and players are not required to stay together as a party. There is only one treasure, and thus, only one of you will be able to obtain it.
You may only go into 1 new room per post, but you may move throughout already-explored rooms freely. You are free to combat other players as you see fit. However, the more evil the monsters sense in you, the more likely you are to be attacked....
[First Room description]
The first room inside the Deku Tree is, as one would expect, wood. The room is, for the most part, plain. Worthy of mention are two doors (neither of which is the entrance), one on each side of the room, though it appears that the one on the left will require a bit of climbing to get to. A set of vines grow along a wall, next to the door, however, a single Skullwalltala has made its home, close to the top of these vines, and would be only too happy to take a bite out of an unaware climber. It does not pose much of a threat, as long as there's a ranged weapon nearby. Though, be careful with fire- letting any flames get out of hand could be hazardous to your health.
To the right are two Deku Babas, guarding the door. Their necks are only about four feet long, and thus, do not pose a threat, as they are very easily beheaded. Doing so will result in the obtaining of a Deku Stick- an item that could be potentially useful, in further endeavors.
Finally, six pots have been placed haphazardly around the room. Breaking them will reveal their (potentially useful) contents.

King Tarsus Hyrule walked into the Deku Tree. He took in the room and decided that the right would probably be the best, easiest path to take.
But first.
Tarsus walked up to two of the pots in turn and smashes them with his spear. he picked up whatever they may have dropped an turned toward the deku babas. he started to head that way.

Advisor Yulia soon enters her cool demeanor on her face as usual. Although she is more worried about the Skullwalltala. She draws her crossbow and fires at the monster. Not about to take a chance of being attacked. Then plans to smash two pots with her sword. "Your highness I'll head up the vines once I deal with this fiend"

Yami Kaiba entered the dungeon. She wasn't really looking for any kind of treasure. She was here partially because she wanted a challenge, and partially to protect the king. I'm inside a tree...why..." she thought as she looked around. She approached two pots and smashed them, collecting the contents. Without any kind of ranged weapon, she decided it would be best to follow the king's lead and head for the Deku Babas.

The skullwalltala tries frantically to crawl away, but alas, it fails to be faster than an arrow. Its corpse falls to the ground and disappears, in a black cloud.
The two Deku Babas poise themselves for a fight, however, the one on the left seems to have a very... interesting way of poising itself. In fact, it has straightened its neck completely, and is now randomly flailing about. Dispatching it should be an easy task. The other baba seems to have its wits, however, and is ready to lunge at anyone who comes within proximity. However, as most plants do, it moves slowly.
Inside the pots that Tarsus broke are two blue rupees, adding up to a total of 10.
Inside the pots that Yulia broke are 5 arrows, and a recovery heart.
Inside the pots that Yami broke are 5 rupees, and a recovery heart.

Yulia grins and sends a fireball at each of the Deku Babas. After putting her crossbow away and having her sword and shield set just incase her fire spell is not enough. Then plans to break two more pots.

Yulia sends two fireballs at the deku babas, causing each to wither and die, yielding no deku sticks. However, there is a consequence to using fire so carelessly.
This dungeon is now on fire, and the entrance is closed. Everyone has two posts to move out of the room, before they are consumed by the flames. There are no more pots remaining in this room, and all enemies have been defeated.

tarsus grabbed yami's hand and ran for the door. he didn't know what yulia was going to do. he felt bad for leaving her behind, however yami was closer. when he got to the door he threw it open

Yami wasn't expecting the king to grab her hand and force her out, and tripped, nearly falling into the flames. She regained her balance quickly. She looked back at Yulia, who seemed stranded. Yet she had no way to get her out. She didn't have any equipment on her that would somehow assist in Yulia's escape. She accepted that she could do nothing, and turned to the door, helping tarsus push it open. Maybe she can reach the other door? Yami thought.
In the room to the right, Tarsus and Yami, upon entering, are locked in, by iron bars, which cover the doors. There are no enemies in this room, save for a few Keese, flitting about aimlessly. In the center of the room is a large hole, which goes down further than the eye can see. A deku scrub stares directly at the newcomers, and fires a single nut, at Yami. No doors, save for the barred door they entered through, are visible.
In the room to the left, Yulia is locked in, upon entering. She is confronted with a large skulltula, which drops down in front of her, merely staring, and turning its back every few seconds. Behind it is a single wooden chest, and a wooden door on the right wall.

Tarsus whipped out his spear and swatted the nut before it hit yami. he turned to her. ''i'll take care of the shub. see if you can find a way back to yukia.'' he turned and attacked the deku shrub.

Yami nodded her thanks to Tarsus as he deflected the nut. She then looked around the room. The door was locked, with no way out. She approached the hole. She thought about sending a fireball down there to see how deep it was, but decided against it, fearing she might set more of this tree on fire. She swung her sword at a few of the Keese, mainly because they were just being annoying.

Yulia runs and rolls past the monster getting to the chest after opening it. She spins around and fires her crossbow at the beast. Tears fall down her face still thinking she was left behind not even sure if Yami and the King are alive.

The nut splinters into thousands of pieces, no match for Tarsus' spear. In return, the Deku Scrub merely spits another- someone with a shield, or equipment that can stun, would be useful in this situation.
Yami manages to eliminate all keese in the room, meaning the only real threat left is the Scrub.
As for Yulia, she barely succeeds in rolling past the Skulltula as it drops, however, she is nicked by one of it's sharp leg-claws as she goes by, taking a quarter-heart's damage. However, her arrow manages to off it, and it falls to the ground, bounces a few times, and leaves behind a recovery heart- how very convenient!

Yami pushed Tarsus aside, ducking below the flying pieces of nut. She then rolled and pulled her shield off of her back and held it in front of her, ready to deflect the nut that was now flying at her. At the same time, she ran through ideas in her head. Going back to the other room was out of the question because of the fire, meaning the only way out of their current room would be down the hole. Yet she had no idea if there was water or land, or even lava down there. For all she knew, they could both get killed trying to jump.
Yami thought back to Yulia, hoping she was okay. She didn't even know if she had made it through the other door from the burning room. She shrugged the concern aside, realizing that Yulia could take care of herself, and again approached the edge of the pit.

“Ow! Ok! I give, I give!” The deku scrub chitters. “You've beaten me, so i'll give you a hint- “Those who trust the darkness will be rewarded”. And with that, he disappears, digging into his flower. Now, all that remains in the room is Yami, Tarsus, and the dark hole.
Yulia, in the meantime, is rewarded with yet another new room, however, it appears to be a dead end, with nothing but a single switch in the center of the room. The door bars behind her, upon her entering- nothing to do but wait.

Trust the darkness? Yami thought, I guess that pit looks pretty dark. Might as well check it out. She walked to the edge of the pit, ready to jump, when the king said "well then, this will be interesting" and he jumped right into the hole. Alarmed, Yami didn't really jump, but slipped at the edge and fell into the hole.
Yulia steps on the switch, and several things happen at once: Firstly, rising up toward the falling tarsus and Yami are bloodied spikes, littered from unfortunate monsters that have taken a slip, a little too close to the edge. However, the switch that Yulia pressed has activated a magical gateway, over the spikes, effectively creating a safety net, that will act as the doorway to the final stretch of the dungeon.
Secondly, after Yami and Tarsus have passed through, the switch immediately warps Yulia outside of the dungeon, eliminating her from the dungeon run.
Once they pass through the gate, Yami and Tarsus will land in a body of fresh water, fit for drinking, should they so desire. Drinking this water will restore 5 of the user's hearts, and all of their magic. This water can also be bottled for later use, should you have an empty bottle to do so. Just outside of the water is a large treasure chest- obviously built to hold something important. However, while there are two adventurers, there is only one chest. They will have to decide who gets the treasure inside....
Ahead of the chest is a very large, ornate door, quite out of place inside a rotting tree. Be warned- going through this door is final. Once you are through, you will not be able to leave through that same door. Be prepared for anything.

Yami nodded and walked up to the chest. It was fairly large, and well decorated. It definitely showed some sort of significance. It was obviously important to them somehow. The contents could very well help them on this journey. Before reaching the chest, however, Yami realized that the water was healing water, so she filled up a bottle for use later. She then returned to the king's side. "On three. 1..2.."
