Upon opening the chest, the pair finds a Bow and Arrow (as well as a small quiver, which is filled to it's maximum capacity of 30 arrows), as well as a Slingshot (as well as a pellet pouch, filled to its capacity of 30 pellets)- How they distribute these is up to them.

A rumbling can be heard from the next room- there's no time to lose.

Yami picked up the bow gingerly in her hands. She stared in awe at the high quality of the wood and the workmanship. Though she generally was a swordsman, she had taken a liking to the skill of archery. She had even practiced during her training as a child, but was never able to obtain a bow of her own. Now here she was, holding an amazing bow in her hands. She subconsciously reached into the chest and pulled out the sheath of arrows and slung it on her back, along with the bow.

tarsus picked up the slingshot and pocketed it. it wasn't something he would normally use but it may do good here.

Yami stood up quickly, then turned toward the door. She could hear a low growling coming from within. She placed her hand on her sword hilt, ready to draw at a moment's notice. She didn't know what kind of beast lay within, but it seemed that the door was their only way forward. She nodded at the king, then slowly walked toward the door, pushing it open.
