Let it begin! (open)

the next morning tarsus awoke early. really early. he got dressed, packed his sachel and grabbed his staff. he took one last look at the portrait of his wife and left the room.
 he made sure the captain of the guard knew he was leaving and headed into town. he made a small detour, and instead of leaving for the town gates he headed towards a small pie shop and ordered 4 pieces of pumpkin pie. he then sent a messenger to find yami and yulia. all that done, he sat back and waited for an old friend.

Ruiyn walks the city early in the morning searching for a old friend. Finally spotting the old pie shop spotting his friend and sits at the table eating his pie. "So when we leaving and where are we going, but before getting to that enjoy your pie and tell me how have you been?"

Yami was woken abruptly to a knocking on her door. She threw a knife, lodging it in the door. It hit a small slit, so it was poking through on the other side. She heard a surprised jump as the person on the other side saw the blade. "Who's there?" she asked, standing up. "I-i'm just a messenger! I was sent by the king! He wants to meet you at a small pie shop!" the man said, then gave her the exact location and ran off.

Yami walked over to the door and yanked the knife out. She was laughing. "Oh man, that never gets old!" she said as she put the knife back in it's hidden scabbard and got ready for the day. Do we really have to be up this early? she thought as she walked out of the inn and down to the pie shop. She walked in and saw the king and some other guy sitting at a table. She nodded to them and sat at the table next to theirs.

A horrible memory from her past awakened Yulia sat up in bed but felt a sense of trouble perhaps due to her dream or something else Yulia quickly hurried to check on the King and Yami worried.

tarsus smiled when his old friend came in.

''ruiyn my old friend,'' tarsus said waving at the seat next to him, ''its been too long. as to where and when, all i will tell you right now is we are searching for verisia to make sure she is ok. the rest will have to wait untill the others get here. as to how ive been, you should know. from the shadows you see all.'' about that time yami walked in. tarsus waved her over to him and waited. ''there is only one more person we are waiting for.''

Receiving the message Yulia walks into the meeting room a worried look on her face."Your highness is everything alright?"Seems Yulia was already on her way long before the message arrived her worry lets her usual calm appearance fade.

"My lord not everyone is here. I need to know what your planning so that I may prepare properly, but before that how are things in the castle. I've been busy reading reports and keeping eyes on our borders to have much eye on the courts." Ruiyn spoke softly but with urgency in his voice. "I'm not sure I trust everyone your bringing on this mission. Our friend here seems to like scaring the messengers a little to often and soon they will refuse to take messages to her if this continues." he says while gesturing towards Yami.

Yami waved a waiter over and ordered a slice of chocolate cream pie. The man rushed off to the kitchen, where he delivered her order to the baker. Yami then turned to the two men sitting next to her. "Aw, come on, Ruiyn, you don't remember me? And you don't even trust me?" Yami said, spinning a table knife in her hands, then slamming it into the wood table. "Besides, I was only having a little fun. It's fun to make the messengers freak out. And I never hurt any of them." she said to Ruiyn just as Yulia walked in.

Yami, a little reluctantly, gestured for Yulia to sit down. "You probably really don't know this girl, however, so I'm gonna leave the introductions to you." Yami said. The waiter came back to her table and brought her a slice of chocolate cream pie. Yami thanked him and handed him a red rupee.

Yulia turns to Ruiyn. Her face still shows worry but a little calmer. Her voice casts a charm in a way for him to trust her."I trust Yami and so should you sir."

''Sit down and enjoy your pie every one.'' tarsus said as the pies arrived.  he took a bit out of his pie and memories rose in his mind. ''now,'' he said pushing the memories away. '' our mission is to eliminate a threat to the kingdom. yami is familiar with them. on a side note we are going to be checking up on my daughter. yulia i think this will be the first time you meet her.''

Ruiyn waves a man over and whispers something into his ear, continues to eat his pie afterwards. He looks right at Yami " Its not you I distrust, its her I don't trust. She's a low end advisor and has only been here for only a year at most. And when it comes to the messengers there getting just really nervous. Something is got them spooked and I'm looking into it now. I'm preparing for the trip as we speak. If there is anything you need please speak to my messenger before he leaves. As for the group your looking the Kurassha there are a few more minor groups than the one in death mountain."

Yami happily ate the pie that was set in front of her. Then she turned to Ruiyn. "Don't worry, you aren't the only one who doesn't trust her. Something about her seems, suspicious, but I don't know why. I don't know, maybe i'm just being paranoid." She said, quiet enough the Yulia wouldn't be able to hear. Then, a little louder, she said "Where are all of these groups? Honestly, this is the best information I have gotten about them in two years. So please, tell me everything you know, master Ruiyn." she said.

Yami finished her pie quickly, and ordered another slice. "I swear, this place has the best pie in town. Yulia, you want anything? I'll buy." she said.

Yulia excuses herself walking out into a small area that was empty other then for grass and rocks. Yulia looks down at the ground pulling out her ocarina as soft blue swirls spin around her as she plays. Tears fall from her face as her hair goes from black to blonde as she plays the sad melody her robes turn into a golden dress with a silver royal crest on it.
Any who could hear it would feel as if a great pain laid within her heart. The question is who is the real Yulia this one with the blonde hair and sadden eyes or the emotionless black haired one who talks to no one.

tarsus excuses himself and grabs his staff. he walk out of the shop following yulia. he sits down next to her and leans his staff against his shoulder.

''What is wrong Yulia? You haven't been a member of my court for long but I have learned your tunes.'' genuine concern was in his voice as he spoke to her. ''I dislike my court being sad.''

(order suspended. just me and yulia for the time)

Yulia stops the music that moment her appliance changing back to her usual looks. She looks shocked and horrified not realizing the King was there. Without a word Yulia darts past him into the city holding tightly to her ocarina drying her tears not looking back.

tarsus takes of after her. he pulls up a memory of the town layout and takes a path that cuts her off. he steps out of an alley when yulia runs up to it and wraps his arms around her. he doesn't do it with force but more as a father. it was the same action he did when his daughter had a nightmare.

''Yulia, its ok,'' tarsus said, his voice a soft calming tone. ''Its just me. everything is ok. you can talk to me, right?''

Yulia grinds her teeth shutting her eyes closed her hands are in two fists.I...I don't know anymore! I just...just get back! I don't want to hurt you! Yulia does her best to hold back as if something inside was compelling her to do something far different then what she is doing now as tears fell down the sides of her face.

he pushes her back to arms length. ''hey now, everything is ok.'' tarsus said, trying to calm yulia down. ''nothing bad is going to happen as long as you just tell me whats wrong ok?'' he had never seen yulia like this before and it worried him.

Yulia is quite off she seems preoccpied with something but what?Just...can't...gah!!She sends the king flying as a red glow surrounds Yulia. She clutches her head in pain.

tarsus skid to a halt down the road a bit. he decided to chance more injury. he started to walk towards her. he set his staff on the ground and held both hands in front of him. he planted each foot firmly as he walked. once again he wrapped her in a hug.

''you are safe,'' he whispered into her ear. ''there is only me.'' again he made his voice soothing. ''there is no one else but you and me. i'm here to help you but i cant if you wont let me.''

"No there is someone else...someone stronger!" She tries her best fear in her eyes. As tries not too do anything but she can't stop herself. As she sends dark orbs flying everywhere.

''thats enough'' he says sternly. ''the only one here that can hurt you is you.'' he was not going to allow this girl to hurt people but he didn't want to push her too far. ''what caused this hmm?'' he asked calmer and gentler.

She doesn't answer yelling loudly in pain as she somehow stops the darkness and just stands there starring with a blank look on her face before she falls to the ground.

tarsus caught yulia as she fell. he genty lowered her to the ground.

''yulia,'' he said softly, ''yulia wake up.''

She groans slightly very pale and weak it must have taken all she had to stop whatever it was that was happening to her. Something can be seen glowing threw her cloak on her back.
