You may have noticed the shop systems? Well, I'm gonna teach you how to use them! So as you've read, we have a rupee system in place. And that means you can spend 'em just like in the games
(Not always a good thing.)
But how do you spend them? Well, here's how!
You go to the Shops and you see this item you really really want. So you scream, "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY RUPEES!" Confused still? Well, what you do is you comment on the Shop threat with the item you want, the quantity you want (if multiple are available) and we'll sell them to you! Then, once we reply saying "Sold!" We go to our magical rupee vacuum in the Admin Panel and subtract the appropriate amount of rupees from your total. And TA-DAH! The item is yours!
Just remember! Use this template so we know which character the item is being applied to!
- Code:
-
[b]Username:[/b]
[b]Character Receiving Item:[/b]
[b]Item Being Bought:[/b]
BUT! DID YOU KNOW? YOU CAN SELL US BACK OLD ITEMS YOU DON'T NEED?! YEAH! I KNOW!
So, what you do is you post a separate topic in the shop you're selling to. Make sure that you sell your item back to the shop you bought it at, or if you didn't buy it and it was awarded to you, sell it at the store that seems most appropriate to sell the item at (Sell a Sword at Biggoron's Shop, a treasure at Beedle's, or a Potion or a Fairy or Potion Ingredients at Syrups, etc.). Then, we'll buy back your items from you for 75% of the advertised retail price! If the item has no retail price, for example, if it's one of a kind, or it's not common, we'll offer you what we think it's worth.
When you sell, use this template here! Post it in a new topic! Put [Selling] and the item name in the title and use this template:
- Code:
-
[b]Username:[/b]
[b]Item Being Sold:[/b]
[b]Original Purchase Price:[/b] (If applicable)
Remember! In both cases you may haggle for more if you feel you deserve it, especially in cases where the items value is not set! But also remember, we may or may not accept your higher offer.
Well! That's all for today, but more to come later on other ways to make rupees through the shop! Enjoy folks
